Sofi the Butterfly By Mo'onia

L.I.- W.A.L.T- write a narrative story about tiny creatures.                Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I wrote a story about a butterfly and a snail..  

                              Sofi the butterfly 

Once upon a time there was a butterfly named Sofi. She was so pretty she can fly in the air. She meet Max, the snail. He said,
'' hi nice to meet you, what's  your name ?'' "My name is Sofi the butterfly'', she said, "lets go and play hide and seek". Sofi went to hide  and the snail counted and said'' here I come Sofi". He found her hiding in the leaves of the tree. 

The next day her mum made snacks for  Sofi and Max,  and they ate it all up. They walked to their beds and they sleep. When they woke up they watched television Dora the Explorer.  They  saw Dora and Boots and they have so much fun. Later Max went home. 













           

In The Holidays

In the holidays I went to the park with my family.  I had a swing and also I had a slide.  I swung high in the air.  It felt great and it was fun.

Later in the holidays I went to Palmerston North in the car.  I went with my mum, my aunty and my dad.  We visited my nana.  She was very happy to see us. 

At my nana’s house I fed the goldfish.  The goldfish live in a glass fish tank with their mum and dad. They have a house which is brown and red.  They all love it!  They have lots of green plants to make their home into an undersea world. 

In the evening I felt a little earthquake.  It scared me.  After that the earthquake stopped shaking our house.  Christopher said, “Who’s making our house shake?”  “It was an earthquake”, said mum.  It was an exciting visit to nana’s house. 

Sunday Church

On Sunday I went to Mass with my family.  First we had breakfast and then we drove to church in our car.  Sister Evalesi said that it was important to go to Sunday church because us children were part of the school choir.

I sat at the front with the other Saint Patrick children, the way Sister Evalesi told us.  While we sang hymns Sister Evalesi played the guitar.  I sang with my best voice.  There were a lot of people at church. 

After Mass I went to Sunday school with my brother Christopher and my mother.  At Sunday school I was given a piece of paper and I drew Saint Patrick’s School.  I also drew my friends and myself playing in the playground.  We sang songs and we played hangman.  I like going to Sunday school because I like to learn about God and sing songs.  After Sunday school we had a cup of tea and then we went home.

Rainbows End

In the holidays I went to Rainbows End with my family.  First I went on the roller coaster.  It was fun.  Then I went to the Bingo game.  It was a hard game but it’s alright.  My Mum came too.  We played cooking together.  Mummy and I made pancakes.  They tasted yummy.  I also went to the Balling game with my family.  I bowled the ball into the cupboard.  I won the game!  It was a lot of fun.  I hope that I get to go to Rainbows End another time.

In the Sacrament Strand I learned that the waterfall is a holy place because God made it for us to enjoy by swimming in it.
