I learnt that plants need water and sun. It needs rich soil.

My visit to the Stone house

Room 2 visited the Stone house at Panmure yesterday. We wanted to learn what people used in the past.

I saw an old washing machine. You had to move the long handle back and forth to make the washing clean. I tried to move the handle but it was hard. I saw lots of old things like an old iron and an old huge bible.

I enjoyed my visit.

Making Home-made Ice-Cream

Room 1 and Room 2 made vanilla ice-cream yesterday in Room 2 because we are learning how to turn liquid into a solid. 

First we poured the evaporated milk, sugar and vanilla essence into the bowl. Then we whipped it up with an electric beater until it became creamy. After that we put it in the freezer to set. It tasted delicious. It tasted like a real ice-cream from the New World.

I am happy because now I know how to make home-made ice-cream.

I am meditating

In Room 2 I am learning how to do meditation. I can do meditation when I stay still, close my eyes, sit up straight, breathe gently and place my hands on my lap. Meditation helps me to relax. It helps me to listen.

Water is Healthy

Our bodies need water. Water gives the brains a lift. Water stops a headache. Water is healthy.

The House Of God

Today we went to church to practice our singing for Ash Wednesday. I sang Lord Have Mercy, Amen, Turn Back To God and Create A New Heart. I love going to church because I get to pray at church. Sometimes I pray for my family. I love singing at church.
