Walking with my Grandpa- By Moonia Tupou

                   
Learning Intention: W.A.L.T.- write a recount.
Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I write a recount  using full stops and capital letters correctly .
  
One day my Grandpa and I went for a walk. First we have to put on our sport shoes and tie it. Then we get our drinking bottles and towels,and off we go walking. 

I was tired so I had a drink. My Grandpa wasn't tired at all. So we went for a long jog until we reach home. My Grandpa had a sleep. I ask my mum if we could have food at Mac Donald's. We ate there and we had a great time.

My school holidays- by Moonia

                     My School Holidays
Learning Intention: W.A.L.T.- write a recount.
Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I write my story in order, and use capital letters and full stops correctly.
                                           
  I can't wait to go to the beach !
On the holidays my two cousins, Auntie, sister  and I went for a long drive to the beach. We stop at the ice cream shop. We bought jelly ice cream, chocolate ice, and another chocolate.  We ate it until we arrived to the beach. We look for a spot and we sat there. My cousin and I found seashells and we play in the sand.

My sister went for a drive to get pizza. I went to the water to play with my friends. I went to the deepest water.

Later I got out of the water  to eat chicken and chips. After  we eat we pack our stuff and we went to drive home.

How To Bake Potato Gratin -by Moonia

                How To Bake Potato Gratin
L.I.- We are learning to write an instructions. 
Success Criteria: I know I am successful when I write the instructions in order using Verb at the beginning of each sentence how to bake potato gratin.

Ingredients: 
Potatoes
Cheese Sauce
Salt, Grated Cheese
Steps:
. Wash the potatoes.
. Slice the potatoes thinly.
. Arrange the potatoes on the baking dish to cover the space.
. Cover the potatoes with cheese sauce.
. Put another layer of potatoes on top of the cheese sauce.
. Repeat covering the potatoes with cheese sauce until all is used.
. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees until cook.
. Cool it down before eating

                     The Day I saved Emily



Last Thursday I went down by the river. I saw Emily feeding the fish all by herself. Next, I heard her screamed for help. She fell in the water. I helped her out of the cold water with my clothes on. I got her out  and I was shivering. 

Her mother said,''Thank you for saving my daughter'' Emily was shivering and change her clothes. Her mum wrap her with a blanket and  she was sent to bed.

Jump the plank by Moonia

                        Measurement-Distance
                                       Jump the Plank
Learning Intention: W.A.L.- to measure how far we could jump the ''plank'' using centimetres. 
Success Criteria: I can do this when I measured the distance of how far I could jump the plank.

Our group jump the ''plank'' and measured how far each one of us had jumped. We use a chair as our plank and we started the measurement from the foot of the chair to the back of our heel where we landed from our jump. This are the results.
1. Heneliena jumped was 105 centimetre long.

2. Uinisiete jump  was 120 centimetre long. 

3. And my jump was 91 centimetre long.

4. Te Raiana jump  was 90 centimetre long.

5. Christopher jump was 90 the same as Te Raiana.
SUMMARY

Uinisiete jumped the farthest.
Heneliena jump the second farthest.
I jump the third farthest.
Te Riana and Christopher jump the fourth and the least farthest.
